Firt Impressions
When you go in for a job interview or meet someone for the first time, first impressions are everything. You are judge by just a quick glance, a handshake or the first few words out of your mouth. You can never get those moments back so you are always taught to look your best, be confident and make a great first impression. Quite a few people work hard to make the inside of their homes perfect, well designed and full of personality but often make a rookie mistake, forgetting about the front entry. This is the first impression opportunity for you and your home. Is it also just as well put together as the inside of your home? Does it express your personality or is it boring and full of dead leaves and spider webs? Your front door can speak volumes and is just as important as the interior. So, what is your front door saying about you?

Kitchen Cabinets, Light or Dark?
I must admit, I used to hate white cabinets! Well, hate may be too strong of a word but I definitely always chose darker cabinets over light anytime of the week. But now, I actually, if I dare say, really like white cabinets...if they are done right that is. So now I have crossed over to "the other side" however, a nice dark cabinet will probably always be my favorite! So what kind of kitchen cabinet do you fancy? A nice light, clean airy feel or a bit darker, rich look?

Closet Love
I can't wait for the day when I'm no longer shoving all of my shoes onto a small shoe rack or trying to squeeze myself into the back of closet to look for an item. Someday everything will be easily accessible and beautifully on display and then I will sit in my closet and look around as I decide what I want to wear. Someday... :) Whether you fancy shoes, accessories or fine clothes there is a closet out there for you! To achieve that dream closet it's best to hire an interior designer or closet designer but until then, enjoy some photo inspiration!

Sweet Dreams
I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday! Like any long weekend it went by way too fast and I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things. This week however did bring a little surprise my new little nephew decided he wanted to come a little bit early. So in honor of this new little bundle of joy I thought I would do a post dedicated to nurseries. There are some many fun things you can do with a nursery. You can keep it simple or go all out, go totally girly or keep it gender neutral which is a great way to save money if you still like your design down the road. So enjoy a few of my favorite nursery ideas.
